ADMISSION:
The school is open to children of all castes, creed and religion.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION:
● Birth Certificate (Original) From Municipal Corporation.
● Transfer Certificate of the previous school.
● 3 copies of student stamp size coloured photographs.
● 2 copy of father and mother stamp sized coloured photographs plus photo copy of Aadhar card.

ADMISSION TEST AND INTERVIEW:
The selection of students for admission will be made on the basis of written test, on the following subjects:
● English language
● Mathematics
● General Knowledge (Oral)

The decision of the Principal is final in the matter of admissions.

COURSES OF STUDIES:
Modern School, Beliaghata has the following course of studies:
● The CBSE Section: Pre-School to Class-XII (Com) which prepares the students for the CBSE Education Examination of the Central
    Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, in the following subjects: English, Bengali/Hindi, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science,
    Computer Application, Moral Science and General Knowledge.
● XII (+2) Section: (Classes XI & XII) which accept students who have passed CBSE (X) or its equivalent, and which prepares students
    for the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

IMPORTANT POINTS:
● Admission is granted on the basis of merit and on the best judgment of the authorities.
● Information deliberately suppressed, concealed or faked will lead to cancellation of admission.
● Registration Fee is non-refundable.
● All receipts/documents and deadlines mentioned by the school are to be preserved. Failure to comply with dates mentioned by the
   school office may lead to cancellation of admission.
● The decision of the Principal on admissions is final. No explanation will be provided in case admission is not granted.
● All Fees once paid is non-refundable.

Note: XI and XII (Com) is a separate course. Admission to it is entirely at the discretion of the School Authorities even for the students who have completed the Class X at Modern School, Beliaghata.  A new application is required for admission to these courses.
